About Love Compatibility Horoscopes

Tagged Under :

According to people who believe in astrology, everybody has a horoscope. Apparently, the stellar and planetary influences present at the date and time of your birth can have a marked effect on your personality, luck, destiny, and love life. You can also take into account the way the horoscopes of the different parties in a relationship. Love compatibility, as well as compatibility in other relationships, is thought to depend at least partly on the horoscopes of those involved. In fact, in some places, this belief is still so strongly held that people consult professional astrologers when arranging marriages, to ensure or at least facilitate the love compatibility match of the prospective spouses.

Two of the most popular horoscope systems in the world are based on Chinese and Babylonian astrology. The Chinese one rotates signs yearly, while the latter rotates them monthly. Both systems have something to say about love compatibility. People frequently consult them to see which signs “go well” together. For instance, in the Babylonian horoscope, some good pairings include Pisces and Scorpio, as well as Taurus and Capricorn. As for Chinese astrology, the Rat and Dragon are good combinations. The rule of thumb is that you will probably make a good love match with somebody whose sign is that of five years before or five years after your own. Interestingly, Chinese astrology also includes a lot of information on other types of relationships, such as business and family. Information based on the other type of horoscope does not focus on non-romantic relationships as much.

You will find many web sites and magazines who give horoscope-based love advice, as well as many mass-market books on the subject. However, many experts on astrology will tell you that such advice is very limited. These publications tend to treat all members of the same sign in a very generalized, uniform manner. However, a reading by an expert is likely to be much more specific, including matters of love compatibility. If you are planning to make an exceedingly important decision (as in marriage, not just a date), it makes sense to consult an expert.
